3: Crude oil refining field --- vacuum tower distillation process: the oil and gas at the top of the vacuum tower is continuously pumped away by the vacuum system for cooling, so that a negative pressure is formed in the tower, and the atmospheric residue is vaporized in large quantities, which needs to be decompressed. A wire mesh demister is installed on the top of the tower to prevent oil droplets from being pumped away.

4: Chemical production field---Sulfuric acid production process: sulfur or pyrite is burned or roasted in the air to obtain sulfur dioxide gas, using a solid catalyst to directly oxidize sulfur dioxide with oxygen in the air to obtain sulfur trioxide, trioxide Sulfur is combined with water in the absorption tower to obtain sulfuric acid. In the absorption tower, a wire mesh demister is used.
